The Lens of Love
The relationship you've been avoiding is the one with yourself.

You're exhausted from solving everyone else's problems. You resent it. And then you resent yourself for resenting it.But saying no feels more dangerous, it’s easier to just ... find a solution and move on. So you do it... Again. And the loop continues.

Who I am
Hey, I'm Simone Clarke. Before I guided anyone, I too needed guiding around the relationship I have with myself. When I looked for support that resonated with me, someone who truly got it was hard to find.I have been in the loop. I have been the person everyone leans on until there is nothing left to lean on, and I'm left wondering what's wrong with me.I have stayed too long, bent too far, swallowed too much, loved too much, because the alternative felt like blowing up a life and relationships I had worked hard to build.I know what it costs to keep the peace at your own expense.
And I know what it takes to stop. That is what I do.My own walked road, and fifteen years as a coach, sitting with others who are ready to walk theirs.

Who I Created This Space For
You are the one people call.
The one who figures it out.
Holds it together.
Shows up even when you have nothing left to give. The one who can't say no.Somewhere along the way the weight of other people's lives became your responsibility and you took it, because that is what you do.A tiredness that sleep doesn't fix.Perhaps what you have never said out loud, maybe not even to yourself, is that you are exhausted. Bone tired. And you have been for a long time.I see it, I see You. And I want you to know it does not have to stay this way. This space is for the one who is ready to look. And if that is not you right now, that is okay. This door will still be here when you are.

What Happens Here
What we do here is simple.
And it is not always easy.Together we clear enough of the noise to see what is really happening, and this time, someone holds the light while you look.We observe the loops you run without thinking. The beliefs you inherited before you were old enough to question them. The inner voice that is never quite satisfied with you. The choices you keep making on autopilot, wondering why you keep arriving at the same place, in the same relationships and in the same disappointments. How much do we truly remember of the years when we were small sponges, absorbing everything around us as truth? Do you truly know what is you and what is not?Together we explore the only person you have 100% control over ... You.
How you move through the world. How you respond to what life puts in front of you. Why you react the way you do.
We work with mind and body together, through reflection, breath and simple movement.Slowly, you start seeing.
Slowly, you start choosing. And life begins to feel less like a thriller and more like an adventure.

Some Questions I Answer Regularly

Who is this for?
For you, the one who holds it all together. The one people call. If you keep giving until there is nothing left, and you are tired in a way sleep does not touch, you are in the right place.
What if I do not know what is wrong, I just know something feels off?
That is often where it starts. You do not need a name for it yet. The free guide, "Why Does Everything Look Fine, But Feel Off?", was written for exactly this moment.
Who is behind The Lens of Love?
Me, Simone Clarke. A guide and certified coach with over 25 years in personal development, the last 15 in coaching and group work. I needed this kind of support myself once, and struggled to find it. So I built it.
Where are you based?
McGregor, a small village in the Western Cape, South Africa. Everything here happens online, so you can join from wherever you are.
What can I expect?
Slowing down. Noticing. Looking at what you do on autopilot and asking whether it still serves you. We work with mind, body and soul together, so expect reflection alongside simple practices for your body (breath, stretching, stillness). All at your own pace.
What is the difference between the course and the memberships?
Learn to Love Yourself is a self-study course. Seven modules, one payment of R222, done in your own time.
The memberships are ongoing.
The Lantern
R100 a month. Brings you my monthly writing, and limited access to the Living Library.
The Hearth
R250 a month. Adds a group to talk in, my check-ins, a monthly live recording, and the full Living Library archive, which is added to regularly. Two Hearth tiers also include limited 1:1 sessions with me.
Why is it so affordable?
Because cost should not be the reason you keep putting yourself last. Wherever you are in South Africa or across Africa, I want saying yes to yourself to feel possible. The more hearts we heal, the better.
How is this different from therapy?
I am a certified coach. What I offer is a place to slow down, look at what you have been carrying, and be met with care while you do. For many people, that is exactly what has been missing. If you are already in therapy, this can sit alongside it, as a space between sessions. And if you ever need more support than this space can hold, I am happy to recommend a therapist I trust.
What if I have tried things before and nothing has worked?
Then you have been looking for a while. Every approach has its place, and timing matters. This work asks one thing of you: to slow down long enough to see. You can start small, with the free guide, and notice whether it speaks to you.
How do I know if I am ready?
Readiness rarely feels like certainty. Often it feels like being tired of arriving at the same place. If something here speaks to you, start small and see.
When does Learn to Love Yourself open?
Soon. Sign up for the free guide above and you will be the first to know.
Can I cancel my membership?
Yes, at any time. There is no lock-in. Once you cancel, you will not be billed again, and you will be removed from the group and the member list.
Is what I share in the WhatsApp group private?
Each group has clear rules, and consent comes first. What is shared in the group stays in the group. In The Lantern, members do not message one another. In The Hearth, you may ask in the group for consent to message someone privately, and only a clear yes counts. Private messaging without consent means removal, with no refunds and no exceptions.
Members can see each other's names and numbers. Feeling safe here comes first. This is a core rule of our community, and it is held without exception.
Still have a question? Ask me here.

This space found you for a reason.Change, even a small one like just noticing, can feel daunting, and for that reason we do not rush.Instead, we turn what you have been giving to the external world inward, at last, within a community, without feeling exposed or alone. It all starts here, because you cannot change what you cannot see.
